Have you ever considered the cost of having to repair, or worse yet, replace an RV engine or transmission? These are incredibly expensive components that you depend on, day in and day out, to safely and efficiently move your RV down the road. Either of these components would require thousands of dollars to repair or replace plus you’d have to deal with weeks of “out of service” time due to manufacturer, dealer and/or service center delays. Perhaps not quite as expensive; but, generator problems could also become a major issue. Thankfully, NRVIA certified inspectors are trained to pull fluid samples for lab processing as part of their “pre-purchase” inspections. Adding fluid analysis ensures to your RV inspection helps ensure that you don’t end up inheriting someone else’s engine, transmission or generator problems.
Potential problems, like internal part wear or excessive contamination, cannot be detected by non-certified inspectors who simply pull dipsticks and check fluid levels. Fluid analysis reports, from an NRVIA certified inspectors, show you the true condition inside the components (engine, transmission, generator and cooling system) on the RV you may be considering for purchase.
ISO Certified laboratory testing shows if the fluids are still good or if they are either worn out or contaminated. If costly repairs or maintenance is required, those costs can be negotiated as part of the deal. Why take chances on these complex and ultra-expensive systems when fluid analysis can reveal so much? Fluid analysis is the only way to “look inside” RV engines, transmissions and generators. If your reports show critical test results, it’s probably time to “keep looking”.
Every Inch RV pulls fluid samples for lab analysis during an inspection or even as a stand alone service. Fluid Analysis is performed in a lab and results take anywhere from 3 to 10 days to process. Samples are shipped to the lab the day they are pulled via UPS Ground service which takes 2 business days.
Rush processing of the samples at the lab is available for an additional charge.
Don't take any risks on your RV or Tow Vehicle ..... they represent a major investment and you paid good money for them. Think of fluid sampling and analysis as "blood work" for your RV. You wouldn't take chances with your health, so why take risks with your vehicle engines, transmissions and generators. Use the "proven science" of Oil Analysis to help you improve maintenance and ensure that your equipment, your oils and your coolants are performing as they should. Maintain your RV and Tow Vehicle equipment so you keep it as reliable and "worry free" as possible. It's so easy to do and pays for itself many times over through safely extended engine, transmission and generator fluid change intervals.
Fluid analysis can help by providing evidence of component overheating, fatigue and metal wear. It also helps by identifying contamination of these vital fluids indicating problems with valves or worn or broken gaskets and seals.
Knowing about problems like these before you make a purchase can potentially save you thousands of dollars in repairs or replacement.
Every Inch RV Inspection Services utilizes JG Lubricant Services and Horizon Laboratories to test all samples.
Every Inch RV Inspection Services will be closed from September 1st to November 1st, 2022 while Scott goes back to the NRVTA for more training. Every Inch RV Inspection Services will reopen on November 1st and will also be offering mobile technician services.
